昼にコンビニ行って雑誌めくってたら、腰の曲がったおばあちゃんが若い店員さんと話しているのが聞こえた。
「ゆきおだか、ゆぎおだかってのはどこにあるの？」とおばあちゃん。
店員はさっぱり分からないようで困惑していた。
おばあちゃんも困って、「孫がね、ゆきおのカードだかなんだかが欲しいって言うの」。
“カード”で店員（そして私）は“遊戯王のカード”だと分かった。
「これですよ、きっと」と店員が数歩先のカード売り場に案内。
おばあちゃんは店員にお礼を言って喋りだした。
「今日孫が来るから、電話で『何食べたい？ばあちゃんが作っとくよ』って言ったら、
　ばあちゃんのご飯よりカードがいい、買っといて、って言われてねぇ」
おばあちゃんは笑いながら話してたけど、店員は眉間に皺寄せて苦笑いしてた。

家に着いてから、
自分が子供の時祖母に「ばあちゃんのご飯（お煮しめとか）キライ」って言ったことを思い出して泣いた
