人間は「落差にこそ強く反応する」と言われています。 たとえば年収200万円の人が、年収500万円に上がったら、すごく嬉しいはずです。
しかし年収2000万円の人が、年収1000万円になったら、ものすごくショックです。 それこそ「もう今までの生活ができない！貧乏だ！」と思ってしまうことだってあるでしょう。

すなわち人間の感じ方は、絶対基準ではなく、「変化」なのです。 これを心理学では、ゲイン・ロス効果と言います。

ケイン・コスギに少し似ていますがビックリするほど関係ありません。
